Your Mission:

As our Salesforce GTM Business Systems Manager, you'll ensure our Salesforce platform and business systems are running smoothly and efficiently, and our product and data run compliantly. Your role will be pivotal in driving our GTM operations and ensuring all systems are accessible and utilized effectively by our Marketing, Sales, and CS organizations.

What You'll Do:

Salesforce Administration (~40%):

  • Manage all Salesforce administration tasks, including user setup, security, data management, and troubleshooting.

  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, and approval processes.

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track KPIs and other metrics.

  • Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for data governance.

  • Provide training and support to Salesforce users across the organization.

  • Core administration, user management, and feature use analysis will be a primary responsibility.


Business Systems Management (~20%):

  • Coordinate and manage the integration and optimization of our GTM systems (Marketo, Outreach, etc.) in coordination with other members of the GTM Operations team.

  • Ensure these tools are synced, scalable, and effective in supporting our business operations.

  • Manage system configurations, customizations, and enhancements.

  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding of users across the organization as well as team hierarchies across the GTM stack.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and implement solutions.

  • If you’re interested and willing, we'll provide help, training and education on additional platforms and business systems that require your administrative attention.


Business Analysis (~20%):

  • Gather and analyze business requirements to improve system functionality and performance.

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into sales and marketing performance.

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Support decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.


Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) (~10%):

  • If you’re interested and willing to learn this cross-sectional discipline of security, product management, and legal compliance, we’d be glad to have you!

  • Support compliance initiatives such as SOC2, ISO PII, and other governance, risk, and compliance efforts.

  • Work with external auditors and manage compliance documentation and audits.

  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure systems and processes are compliant.

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data.

  • Training will be provided to handle compliance work effectively.

Project Management (~10%):

  • Support projects from conception to completion in coordination with the rest of the GTM and expanded operations teams, ensuring timelines are met and stakeholders are informed and satisfied.

  • Manage project priorities, set expectations, and deliver results.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project success.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, timelines, and status reports.

Who You Are:

Strong Communicator:

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language.

  • Experience in conducting training sessions and creating user documentation.


Analytical Mind:

  • Strong analytical capabilities to create and interpret business metrics.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and drive business decisions.


Salesforce Expert:

  • Proven experience in Salesforce administration and revenue operations.

  • Proficiency in creating and managing custom objects, workflows, and reports in Salesforce.

  • Experience in user management, security, and data integrity within Salesforce.


Compliance Ready:

  • General understanding of SOC2, ISO PII compliance requirements.

  • Ability to work with external auditors and manage compliance documentation.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to compliance and GRC functions with provided training.


Startup Enthusiast:
